Standing Over 100 Years

There is nothing haphazard or willy-nilly about a farmhouse that is still standing over 100 years after it was built.

    1. That is an excellent question! This is the farmhouse on Chellberg Farm that is now historical land on the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Looking out from the porch, there an open prairie with wildflowers throughout spring and summer. There is also a vegetable garden that is maintained every year by volunteers. The garden is one of my favorite places to visit each summer. To the right of the house, there is also a chicken coop with some very noisy chickens. 😊 Next to that is a barn that is home to a couple of cows. Just thinking about it makes me want to drop by there this afternoon. Maybe some shots from the view of the porch? 😉
