Step Out on the Beach

Built for the Chicago’s World Fair in 1933, walk out the front door of these two homes today and step out on the Lake Michigan beach.

    1. Hi Janet. These are along the National Lakeshore in Beverly Shores, Indiana. There are 4 or 5 houses that were moved across the lake from the Chicago World’s Fair. It is definitely worth the stop. There is historical info about each one and the view is spectacular.

    1. They definitely have amazing views and an entire beach as their backyard. On clear days, Chicago is visible across the lake. Whoever lives in the pink house has a telescope set up in their living room pointing toward Chicago most of the time. 😊
