Thanks, Mandy. Love watching blue herons. Most of them fly away as soon as they spot me but this one was quite cooperative. 😊

Good shot! When I see them they are usually so far away it’s impossible for me to get a good shot.

Thanks, Loralei. Beverly Shores, Gabis Arboretum, and Rogers Lakewood Park are places that I’ve seen them fairly consistently this year. They don’t like having humans around so you have to move very slowly otherwise they just move somewhere further where they can hide from view.
