Crisp and Cold

This morning’s adventure took me out to Long Lake.  Standing on the edge of an entirely frozen solid lake, I could feel the crisp and cold air brushing against my face.  Did I stay there for long on a very gray morning with the threat of more bad weather in the forecast?  What do you think?

This shot was taken in color and not edited to monochrome.  Yes, it was a very cloudy, gray morning and the sunshine remained well hidden for the rest of the day.

Sunshine is Key

On a cold, wintry day, sunshine is key to a pleasant hike along the trails.

A Last Look

As lethargic as the cold can make me feel at times, here is what I hope is a last look at winter reflections.

Watch Your Step

Walk carefully along the frozen Lake Michigan lakeshore.
